Get AHEAD Adult Student Ambassadors
In collaboration with the Kansas State Library, the Kansas Department of Commerce, and other organizations and employers a new set of partnerships is being to recruit and train a volunteer corps of Get AHEAD/Complete to Compete adult student ambassadors.
The GA/C2C ambassadors will help adult students in their respective communities get ahead by informing them of the plethora of programs, resources, and other people (PRP) who can help them complete a quality postsecondary education credential.
The ambassadors include family members, friends, colleagues, supervisors, and others across the state who know and can influence thousands of adult Kansans to return to school. Although the time commitment is small, the Get AHEAD ambassadors can have a positive and life-changing impact on adult students, their families, and their communities.
