Free college application days begin for Kansas residents
(Topeka, Kan.) – The Kansas Apply Free Days begin today, October 7, and continue through Wednesday, October 9. During these three days, Kansas residents may apply for undergraduate admissions at any public college or university, as well as Kansas’ independent colleges, with no application fee.
Participating institutions include all of the state’s public universities, community colleges and technical colleges and the 21 private member institutions of the Kansas Independent College Association. All residents of Kansas are eligible to submit undergraduate admission applications for free during the Apply Free Days.
Undergraduate programs include undergraduate level certificates, associate degrees, and bachelor’s degrees. Eligible applicants include Kansas residents applying as first-time freshmen, transfer students, returning students and applicants seeking a second bachelor’s degree. Applicants for graduate-level programs are not eligible.
Students who are unsure what option is best for them can use tools such as KSDegreeStats.org to explore the cost of various degrees, along with the expected earnings.
