Adobe PDF doucuments:
For opening and viewing Adobe PDF documents, you must either have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer or you can view PDF documents in your web browser with the proper Acrobat Reader plug-in. This plug-in can be obtained from the Adobe web site.

Problems with unzipping files:
Sometimes files are too large to download quickly. In these cases KBOR "zips" these files - the file is compressed to become smaller, which allows you to download the files quicker and efficiently. In order to "unzip", or decompress those files back to their original size, computers must have an unzip application. Most unzip programs are free to download, including Aladdin Systems' Stuffit Expander, Mac ZipIt, and many others. You will need to have some version of an unzip program in order to view zipped files.

Microsoft Word documents:
For opening and viewing Microsoft Word documents, you must have either Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, or the Microsoft Word Viewer installed on your machine.

With Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher installed on your machine, the Microsoft Word document will open within the web browser. Other wise you will be asked to save the document on your Hard Drive.

With the document saved on your Hard Drive you can then open it up in any program that will read Microsoft Word documents.
