Kan-Ed

In 2013, House Bill 2201 made changes to the Kan-ed program, which facilitated the use of broadband technology video communication for distance learning and telemedicine by schools, libraries, and hospitals.  Kan-ed has also historically assisted schools, libraries and hospitals to apply for federal grants related to the use of video communication for distance learning and telemedicine.

PLEASE NOTE: The video services of the MCU and Renovo scheduling provided by Kan-ed will be discontinued on June 30, 2016. The Board Office felt it was important to communicate this change well in advance, to ensure services are not interrupted.
