Fred Logan was appointed to the Kansas Board of Regents by Governor Sam Brownback in 2011. He serves as a member of the Board’s Fiscal Affairs Committee and Governance Committee. He also serves as the Board’s representative on the Transfer and Articulation Advisory Council.

Logan serves on the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute. He is a former vice chair and director of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and former chair and director of the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City. He served on the Board of Trustees of Johnson County Community College from 1992 to 1997. He chaired that board from 1994 to 1997.

He is an attorney and partner of Logan Logan & Watson, L.C. in Prairie Village, Kansas. Logan earned his B.A. and J.D degrees from Indiana University. He is married and has three children.
