ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

The Board of Regents invites nominations and applications for the position of Associate Director for Workforce Development. This position assists the Director of Workforce Training and Education to implement statewide activities related to the integration of technical and adult education. The Associate Director will coordinate/communicate with institutions and partnering agencies to implement and scale the multiple strategies supporting this integration. Additionally, the Associate Director will support other strategic initiatives as further defined by the Regents and Technical Education Authority. Strong analytic, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required along with an acute understanding of workforce development and an ability to work with multiple agencies and constituents. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

KANSAS BOARD OF REGENTS
STUDENT FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST

The Board of Regents invites nominations and applications for the position of Student Financial Aid Specialist in the Student Financial Assistance unit. The successful candidate will work with the Student Financial Assistance team in the administration of the state-funded student financial assistance programs.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, or GED certificate, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree or higher. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, well-developed written and oral communication skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and strong analytical skills. Knowledge of student financial aid preferred, but not required.

Salary range is $33,000-$36,000.

KANSAS BOARD OF REGENTS
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

The Kansas Board of Regents, the governing body for the state’s six state universities and the coordinating body for all thirty-two Kansas public higher education institutions, invites nominations and applications for the Associate Director for Career Technical Education. This position serves the Workforce Development unit under the Kansas Board of Regents and works closely with the Director of Federal Initiatives for Technical Education to implement and support the Carl D. Perkins statewide plan. The Associate Director will support institutions delivering Perkins approved technical programs, support the Directors grant procurement agenda, coordinate the implementation of career guidance and preparation tools, and serve as liaison and technical assistance for Perkins Program Improvement Grant. The successful candidate will have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree from accredited institution and a minimum of three years full-time administrative experience in postsecondary education or a combination of five years experience in project administration and postsecondary education. A well developed set of communication (oral and written), analytical, and interpersonal skills is essential.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
